Dreams in the Desert was realized in 2001 at the Bowling Green State University Electroacoustic Studios and in the composer’s home studio in Bowling Green (Ohio, USA), and premiered on November 8, 2001 during the 20th ÉuCuE concert series at the Oscar Peterson Concert Hall, Concordia University in Montréal (Québec).
