Mario Rodrigue
Mario Rodrigue pursued his musical studies under the direction of Marcelle Deschênes and Francis Dhomont, and obtained his Bachelor in electroacoustic compositionfrom the Université de Montréal. His piece Tilt won the 1st Prize in the electroacoustic category and the Grand Prize in 7th CBC National Competition for Young Composers (1986) and Cristaux liquides was awarded a mention at the 19th Bourges International Electroacoustic Music Competition (France, 1991). Since 1988, he has created and edited sound effects for animated film at the Cinar studio in Montréal. He composed and arranged the music for Steam Meet, a film by Richard Bujold produced by the National Film Board of Canada (NFB, 1992). With the Air Tango studio, he has created and edited the soundtrack of several radio and television commercials.
