Electrothèque gets a new look!

Friday, August 28, 2020, 1:21 pm

Five years (or almost!) after its launch, electrothèque changes its skin. Brand new colors, better use of space, and above all a lighter architecture that is better adapted to today’s web. Try it on your phone, on your tablet, on your desktop computer… or on a projector!

All your features have been preserved. The My collection tab now contains all your favourites (albums, artists and works) as well as your custom playlists. You will also find them at a glance on the home page.

Institutional subscriptions: a complete overhaul!

In addition to the interface, the one big improvement is in the management of institutional subscriptions. These can now be managed directly within the site by the manager(s) of your choice. Subscribing, adding and removing users, configuring IP address ranges: now, you own the keys.

You can even invite your institution’s teachers who, by creating their own account, will be able to take advantage of the subscription, even off-campus… but also manage their own playlists for their students.

Would you like your institution to try our service? Write us for a free one-month subscription. All the details.

Your comments are valuable

This redesign seemed robust enough for us to put it online without further delay, but no doubt some small tidbits have escaped us, and perhaps you have some ideas to propose us. We read all your comments, so don’t hesitate!

New Developments

Dear visitor, first welcome to this official electro:thèque blog.

We’re currently working on two projects which should be completed in the coming weeks:

  • You asked for it: it will soon be possible to download full albums and tracks, for a reasonable price. We hope to offer music files of the highest sound quality, as expected for such an exacting music as electroacoustics!
  • Institutional subscriptions will soon be offered. Is your university/library interested in providing this service to its users? Contact us and we’ll start discussing.

More projects are under way, but let’s start with those two. Don’t forget that we’re available to hear your comments, ideas, etc.
